I Resolve

It's that time of yearo where we make promises to ourselves to be better people.  We make grand resolutions and stick to them as though we've made a blood oath on the life of the most important person in our lives.

What you normally barely keep your resolutions a month and have decided they are pretty much a waste of time? That's okay. I'm the same way, so the question is are new years resolutions a waste of time? My answer is no, and I hope this blog will encourage you to make some. The first thing to be determined is "WHY' Why make a new years resolution? The best answer is to better yourself. But I don't even keep it. After a month I start slipping into my old habits. By two months, I've failed. Yeah, so, that's like two months that you improved yourself that never would have happened. Plus, who knows? Maybe this is the year you breakthrough. I think it's silly to make new years resolutions. I can change anytime, darn it. Yeah, that's true. You can vow to improve in June, but it's January or almost. Let's make a new years resolution. Most people yearn to be habits of ritual and tradition. New years represents a time of new beginnings. Make it a new start for you too. Yay! We're all inspired and ready to conquer the world, but take a seat and stop the fist pumping for a moment.

I'd like to offer a couple tips for keeping your resolutions. • make reasonable ones. You probably won't go from couch potato to health nut overnight, so why not cut out late night snacks and start a small exercise schedule • if you slip up a little, just keep going. If you miss a day or relapse a day, you can always start over the next day. Oh and don't try to make up for missed days. That's it friends, my new years resolutions motivational blog.

The return of my blogs.

Okay, My life is back to normal (sort of) I am starting what will be a new year's resolution to blog more, early.  I am going to finish my Christmas shopping today.  I am so looking forward to this holiday season being over.  That is one of the weird things about this time of year. I love it and look forward to it. I think it is the only holiday season that really brings out the best in people.  What other holiday stresses giving and helping out other so much?  I think that is a wonderful thing, but as much as I look forward to Christmas and its selfless and giving nature, I am always happy to see it go.
It seems like this year more and more people have wished me a Merry Christmas. I often wonder why Christmas is the only holiday not fronted with happy. I am going to go now, but I will be posting much longer blogs from now on as I try to dig deeper into my psyche.  A Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all.

It's the start of a new week, and I plan to do a lot of commenting on it in my blog.
My home state had some earthquakes over the weekend (Oklahoma)  it's a place where earthquakes are very rare. I hope everyone is okay.
Michael Jackson's doctor was found guilty of manslaughter. I think justice has been done from what I've heard. 

Heavy D died yesterday. He is an old school rapper. I would know him if I seen a picture, but I can't think of any songs he rapped. One of the ladies accusing. Herman Caine of sexual harassment wants to hold a joint press conference with the other ladies. I hope this is not to ruin a man's life because he has gained some fame or his political views. I loves me some hot chai tea. It's horrible what's happened at Penn State, and Why aren't people focusing on what's important. 

Not a real blog

I didn't really keep up with the comings and goings of the blog this week, so enjoy the pictures. The randomness you've grown to love will be back next week

Oh yay another week another blog. I wish I could make my blog more eye appealing. Well, I could. I wish I would take the time.
Are you ever out at a restaurant and here people in a loud private conversation?  I always try not to listen but I feel guilty for being able to hear.
If you haven't watched the movie Tron Legacy, you can do worse, though not by much.  I don't think there is any foul language or blood. I know there is nothing sexual or intimate.  The story is simple, and the visuals are bright, so it seems like a good movie for young boys.

I've been watching and seem to be going through a little thing where I am interested in the history of the American west including The Indian Wars. Okay, I'm trying to get some writing done in the morning, so I'm going to make a blog comment early to get my mind going. I'm also going to tweet something. I like watching 'Mike and Mike in the morning' in the morning, a sports talk show. You should always try to talk to others with respect and let them at least finish a thought before you start. I'm looking for something sorta Halloweeny to use as wallpaper on my work computer Why yes I would love to take a nap

Self reliance or baby sitted by the government? Whoever stamps there name on my paycheck forgot to stamp it damn them. I kinda want/need the money I've earned. I keep forgetting to research what happened in history this week. Pears are one of my favorite fruits. I will now rank pears this list does not include the Asian pear because it seems like such a different type of fruit 3. Bartlett 2. D'angou. (Sp?) The number one pear I've tasted is the BOSC PEAR Okay this is weird blogger showed it had published the same blogs multiple times, but when I tried to delete some of the repeats all the posts were deleted. I would really like a tablet. I guess the I pad would be nice, but I would be happier with something cheaper. I wonder how the kindle fire stacks up. I will now publish. Next week I will feature Halloween related stuff.

Weekly Blog #2

<p>So I attended the first of a series of writer work shops yesterday.&#160; It was interesting.&#160; We listened to a playwright speak, and we did an exercise where we listened to various genres of music to see what characters it would inspire.&#160; </p>
<p>I did some revising today. I hope it made the piece better.&#160; Watching some football now.&#160; </p>
<p>The movie Made in Dagenham was really good.&#160; It's based on a true story concerning woman's rights, and Sally Hawkins does an excellent job.</p>
<p>Daniel Tosh is hilarious.&#160; I love his irreverent comedy.</p>
<p>The unabomber manifesto was published on this date. (9/19) </p>
<p>The anime blue exorcist is not bad, but give it about three episodes.&#160; It's one of those things that has to grow on someone. </p>
<p>I think I want to try absurdist fiction. Seems like it would be a fun challenge</p>

<p>Gays and lesbians can serve openly in the military now. I really think after a short time this will seem perfectly normal, but I'm sure there will be a scandal or two.  Not because gay people can't control themselves, there will just be more temptation and opportunity, so I think something will happen.  I just hope people don't overreact. 
My break at work is right while dancing with the stars is on.  I think it would be fun to learn to dance like that. 
My Napster account is well worth it. $10 a month for all the music I can handle, and there is a wide selection.  I've just been listening to some of the inspirational Christian music I was raised on.
I finished an audio book version of The Hunger Games today.  I enjoyed reading it better, but it was still highly entertaining.

I guess it is no guarantee I would have been published here, but I threw out any chance at all by not knowing and following the guidelines. 

On this date (9/22) in 1862, Abraham Lincoln inacted the emancipation proclamation. 
A friend asked me why main or at least minor characters are sometimes killed in a story.  If you have any answers to this question, why not answer it.

<p>The book How to Survive in al Science Fiction Universe is a smart entertaining science fiction novel with heart.&#160;&#160; There are a few times where it rambles though in my opinion, but overall, I heartily recommend the book.</p>
<p>For my writing in working on 3 things again this week.&#160; A short story, a little thing for a contest, and the next chapter in my dragon story.&#160; I've got 6 pieces out in submission that I'm waiting for a response.&#160;&#160; </p>
<p>I was published in father stars ezine today.&#160; They publish rough flash fiction.&#160; I think they love originality and hate Polish.&#160; (9\15)</p>
<p>I finished the graphic novel version of silverfin today. Wow! That was bad.  Let's see most advances in the plot were via dumb luck, and the plot was a pretty rehashed on

I know money talks for any politician, but has anyone ever been so obviously for sale as our current president (in the USA)
